story begins with me being sick for about a month, i had pneumonia and i was struggling very hard to get out of it. toward what i thought was the end of it i went to uni and did an exam i had (i am doing my Masters) anyways it boils down to the fact this hb8 from a far which looked later to be a hb7 from close distance caught my eye while i was doing the exam. i waited til the end of the exam and talked to a few friends of mine outside the room we were just in, while glimpsing at this girl who was talking to her friends also, so she finally starts to walk away from them and to my luck she started walking in my direction. i went directly toward her said "hi" and stopped her, i have never done this before in my life, stopping a moving person imo takes some set of balls and i dont know how i did it. the conversation flew, it was so easy to get her number she actually thought she knew me from around campus some how.
the next day i found out i was still very much sick and the penumonia did not go away, it actually came back and i had to take antibiotics for 10 more days which meant i was out of action for atleast 2 weeks from going out at nights. at that time i met her twice in campus and talked to her 1 time from home.
i was the one initiating the calls during those two weeks, she on the other hand agreed to meet me when i asked her to.
i finished my meds, called her on a thursday and talked to her for 2 hours. although the signs were there to begin with she hit me with the usuall "you are a cool guy and i enjoy talking to you, but this was the first time i gave my number to someone and i am not used to dating"
i would like to say that our conversations were very cool. i even impressed her with my art skills, i can draw and paint and considering i study computer science its something out of the ordinary if you think about it. i am doing my masters degree so i am considered somewhat intelligent
i expressed my wishes of taking her out as soon as i am feeling good.
i have started hitting on chicks at campus a few months back, was some sort of boot camp attempt while trying to get #. this was the first number i actually got, all of girls had a boy friend (i guess all hb9's do.. sucks) .
so it boils down to this, did i do something wrong in the process? i did not call every day, i probably called every 3 days or so, how could i have gotten a date out of this if at all?
too bad the site was down at that time..
