"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

So at school I set next to this chick and she surprised me when she didn't get super nervous around me. She seemed like the type that would. She was cute and little.

Suddenly she said she was 25 and that explained how she didn't lose her composure around me. I don't mind the age though because I am looking for an LTR now, since I can't hit the club anymore due to medical reasons. I was just glad to finally meet a chick with some game though.

It was a 2 hour class, and I wasn't getting any clear IOI's like her playing with her hair, and her legs were crossed away from me, so I didn't try anything risky. But during the whole seminar my heart just started beating so damn fast, I had no real clue why. While talking to her we held super-strong eye-contact. I had the feeling her heart must have been racing too, but she held her composure, while I almost stuttered(once) and was having the utmost trouble following her stories. Towards the end of class I noticed her getting a little more reactive, so I knew that she wanted me to ask for the number. I proposed that we study together some time, and I got the number.

Texted her a few hours later just to give her my number, and she texted me back "thanks x".

She was dressed incredibly neatly, almost like a stewardess.

I don't have much experience with girls her age range. I was hoping someone could explain her prerogative and maybe give me an angle to go from here. She seems so neat, but her game is on point. She's playing the nice girl card, but I know she's got skeletons in her closet. Maybe that's why I (we?) got so nervous. She thought I was falling for it.

I like the girl but there was just something off about it all. Her being older than me, and seemingly having more experience than me makes it feel like she is leading the interaction. I guess this is simply how the initial phases of getting to know each other works.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Dude, shes 25.. not 35.. How much more grown up do you think she is compared to you lol.. If she's still in school with you, chances are your mentality's are similar.. I wouldn't worry about the age thing. I'm sure she will be a little more mature than girls your age but unless she stays on her own or has a kid, I doubt she is any different than any other typical chick in her early to mid 20's.

Any signs of nervousness on your part as a man is very negative - women pick that stuff up and will eventually be turned off by the perception of lacking confidence. There may be one in a 100 where a woman who is 'nice' type will find your nervousness intriguing - but usually they are into you because they are 'dating down' to play it safe with a man because they recently have been hurt or came out of a relationship. It will not last - work on that confidence and never show nervousness.

She just seemed to try to steer the conversation into nomansland. There were barely any hook-words for me to continue the conversation from. I'd listen to her talk for a whole minute, then basically ask the same question a different way. For some reason she didn't seem bored by any of this. It's like she is purposely making me go through hell to keep the conversation interesting. The most she contributed were some laughs and giggles to encourage me, and she was really open about answering my questions.

I think I played it pretty solid, and by the end of the class she was showing a few signs of weakness. Though I am not sure if she picked up on any of mine. I don't know if she really knew how to interpret me. She wasn't giving me much to work with though.

Either way I still think the heart-beating was mutual, the eye-contact was more solid than ever, so I don't think she's indifferent.

There's 2 problems here, I don't think I indicated my interest to her very clearly. I proposed we 'study' together, then asked her to write down her number. When I wrote it down, it sort of felt like a victory on my part, but on the other hand it felt like she was doing me a favor.

I was just following standard procedure and jumped through all the windows of opportunity without really dropping the ball, AFAIK.

You guys have no clue what I'm going through, here in Amsterdam. Nobody plays the game harder than dutch girls. It's ridiculous.

FYI, I didn't laugh nervously or anything. I just couldn't remember what she was saying because my whole physiology was going haywire. She barely gave me anything to work with. I thought to myself: "I know women are supposed to make it hard for us men", so I just continued to play the game. Now she basically cornered me because I got the number under the pretext that we are gonna study together. She's playing so damn neat and tidy and barely IOI'd me at all that I wouldn't dare to ask her if she wants to hang out so we could get to know each other. Now we're supposed to study which almost makes me into a b!tch.

What do I do? Fight fire with fire? Ask her over to study and just make her want me more by not IOIing? I don't get it.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

guess that sums it up lol. sorry for being harsh ;-9

ok relax. you got the girls number. i didnt quite get how you being nervous could be an indicator of her attraction to you, but still ... there is nothing wrong with a pretext for meeting up. if she likes you then you will see. why not combine "studying" with lets say a picnic? fresh air, space, nice food - and a few books. or even if you play it the traditional way, your ability to escalate has nothing to do with it. that you must. first and foremost that means touch. so keep in mind to sit somehow close to her. kino shows you are not afraid to get physical and that is a huge turn-on. also prevents you from the friendszone. important note: it is not what you say but what you do that tells her what you are up to. so in case you feel the urge to make your intentions clear use your mouth to kiss her instead of talking.

Wow, how many women have you dated previously? I thought women were "neat" when I was 14.

She's playing the nice girl card, but I know she's got skeletons in her closet. Maybe that's why I (we?) got so nervous. She thought I was falling for it.
I honestly don't believe that most women play games consciously. The ones who are selfish and gold-diggers will, but your average girl does not. She will just react to what's going on with her emotions which sometimes makes them do things that are quite mind-boggling, and that can be mistaken for game-playing.

I like the girl but there was just something off about it all. Her being older than me, and seemingly having more experience than me makes it feel like she is leading the interaction. I guess this is simply how the initial phases of getting to know each other works.
Three years isn't much of a difference, but it can make a world of difference depending on the age bracket. Women who are under 24 years old still have a lot of immaturity in them and if you're used to women in that age range, then a 25 year old is going to most certainly be different.

Quit worrying about what games she's playing or how her age affects her interaction with men, and set up a date with her.

Well keep in mind guys, I only put myself in this position so I could learn from it. It's not like I'm some noob with women. I seem to be getting a little soft though, because all the chicks at school were like putty on the first few days of school. I guess I should have pounced when I had the chance. There's another chick whose number I should have asked instead of this one. She was studyin in a different Uni as well, so I might not even see her again. Maybe she quit for good. Either way, I am just going to have to see if there's anyone else who's interesting and go for that.

TBH this girl doesn't really seem worth talking to anymore. I should focus on other ones. Along with that, I think I should harden up my game a bit.

I can tell that since everyone has gone to Uni for a few days now, they assume that all guys there have no clue. Well I do have a clue, and I refuse to let anyone stereotype me along with most of the other guys.

PS: @Desdinova, She is dressed neat and tidy, dude. How else am I going to describe her? She made a neat impression. I don't know where you're from but here in holland it's not weird to be neat or to describe someone as neat.

and @ Zarky, I bet you Dutch chicks are tougher to mack on than Cali chicks. Secondly, being older makes it so you can more easily read their minds. I can read a chick's mind if she's 20 or younger. 24+ makes it a bit harder for me.

You seem to be over analyzing the whole situation and will probably not get too far with her

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I agree with all the said advice. Also, she has a boyfriend. That and/or involved with someone else.
