The problem with these kinds of situations is that the woman most likely already knows that you want her. And she's already decided that she doesn't want you. But she knows that you like her and therefore she's hitting you up for 3 months of free rent in the USA.
If she's got you uncertain of where you stand that's exactly where she wants you and it actually takes quite a bit of skill and deliberate maneuvering on her part to get a man into that position and keep him there. It doesn't happen by accident.
So I'd say most likely she's a very experienced and cunning manipulator, rather than the innocent little flower that you might think.
