A couple of days ago, I came across an e-book that discusses different methods of seduction and I read something that completely blew my mind. I'll regurgitate it in my own words while trying to keep the same context.

"Most seduction methods out there are about changing yourself to fit someone else's idea of what I seducer should be. You are who you are, and if you try to be someone else to get women, you will fail. If you succeed, it's only something that is temporary because the women you attract are not attracted to you, they are attracted to the character you play."

This seems very true.. discuss please.
I want to get some more views on this.

This is true to an extent. I'd put it a different way: Become who you are.

You need to change, but do make changes that a right for you. You cannot live someone else's life. But if you think you are perfect now, you are delusional.

Knowing who you are focusses your goals. What do YOU want? If you can't answer the question then that's where to begin.

I see what they're saying but

Ultimately women are attracted to who you are. If you want to get good you got to tweak your current personality into someone who is good with women. I don't mean if you love video games you have to quit video games, I'm talking about your core personality.

Methods are just a Road map to get to sex and many people have different ways of using that road map. Take Mystery Method for instance, its not about the canned material and all that, its about the m3 model that makes it so great. Guys can learn techniques and stuff and put it into the m3 model where they see fit. Some guys might not DHV, they might do C&F, or maybe they are the cold reading type. Get what I'm saying...

So really I don't think the methods are making people become someone else, its only if you choose to do that but really if you just know why the techniques are used then you can come up with your own stuff based off the structures out there.

The girl is actually seeing your game personality like you said but once she throws those **** tests and she realizes its affecting your game then its over. That is why you can't be something your not. All it really is, is tweaking your personality into a guy who is attracted. Being a game nerd is just who you are if you actually have a passion for games.

I am still an AFC so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but for me the whole transformation is stop putting on and act of being nice, and become the real me. Say what I want and do what I want, not what others expect

everything about 'seducing' 'gaming' 'alphaing' 'don juaning' (if those are terms) is all just on the outside.. its temporary. (ofcourse it will get you layed, if that is the primary purpose of your existence).. you are basically creating something outside of you that attract most of the women. This means you are not attracting any women of substance.. you are just attracting women who are similar aka made up. no depth and cannot really identify with their inner self.

remember its about getting to know yourself better and manifesting yourself completely. This is when you will attract the right people. (Though the number will be less)

to be frank, im actually sick of having that term - 'don Juan' under my nick. gah.

the superficial out ward changes such as clean clothes, fingernails, etc. are important. If you dress like a heavy meatal thrasher, you will miss many opportunities. Personal style dictated success to some degree.

The internal changes, getting over fear, rejection etc. must be changed.

If the current you sucks, you need to change it.
