Cheating situation

I wanted to get some of your guys input on a situation my friend has been through, as i haven't been around long enough to see any similar situations.

His gf got off with another guy at a club, she didn't sleep with the guy, but it was more than one kiss, it was an all night thing.

He decided to stay with her after making her sweat it out for a week, on the basis that it was only a kiss and not full sex.

They are back to happy couple now, but my question is, can this be recovered from or is it likely to happen again in the future?

The guy has pretty tight game and it was a shock when it came out, as the girl seemed not the type.

I know a lot of you will say get rid, and that was the view of our group, but it's easier said than done when your in an ltr.

From the way people talk here, the guys are just as unfaithful. As you said "hook up" culture.

What's funny though is everytime I see people say "hook up" I think of how dogs "hook up" and lock into their bytch and sometimes even drag them around for a bit. (Seen it happen and felt so bad for the female dog).
