Is anyone else only really happy when they are pissed off? I'm only comfortable with myself when I think its me against the world. I've been waiting three months to start my business. In the meantime, I've been working at a casino as a flunky finance guy. Corporate loser, boring and depressed.

Today was supposed to be my first day as an equity trader. Didn't quite work out because I figured when I passed my Series 7 my firm would be notified. Apaprently not. I called the NASD and it takes 2 to 3 days to get proof faxed. It annoyed me in this day and age that it took that long to get access to something simple. I argued with a bunch of people and enjoyed it. It woke me up. Even though it sets me back a couple day, I had a better workout, chatted with a filipina ****tail waitress I've had my eye on and accomplished a ton of stuff. Has anyone else dealt with this? Its an invincible feeling but it can't be healthy because I have no interest in other people. Any thoughts?

Of course.

A lot of people get an "anger high". When we're stressed out and not happy with the things we do, the only way to vent is to complain. And it feels good! But guess what? It's unhealthy!

The only way unhappy people can be happy is to complain about it; make themselves feel better. You should be feeling good about things you do, not making yourself feel better in self pity.

Make a list of everything you want to be and want to do. And shoot for these things. Don't complain. Take the positives in stride and let the negatives slip off your back. At first it's tough, but soon enough you'll be feeling great all the time because you're actually working towards what you want to be.

Men who complain are rarely happy with what they are.

Change your habits, set goals, and conquer them. Never feel bad for yourself, because the reality of it is, No one cares about your problems, they only care about your achievements!

place to place.
at least it's better to vent when your fustrated then to bottle up the beast. but b@tching does have a bad effect too. once you start complaining about one thing, you start complaining about every little thing. then eventually you just mold into this bitter unhappy little man. i use to hate everything and everyone and i complained like no tommorrow. when something did go right i would always counter it with that won't last and it never did.

try reading books on positivity and smiling then implement it into your lifestyle. the sh@t works.
