here is what happened:
I went back, and there were some reports that she wasn't a virgin. This obviously made me less excited (after being reinvigorated) to hook up with this chick. Then she starts flirting with a friend of mine, and I rather see him get leg, so I just get even less interested. Then she starts hitting on other dudes, which pisses me off. Meanwhile, she's in my ear the whole time asking, nay, begging me to go upstairs with her and/or back to her room. Needless to say, I enjoyed this part. So anyway, I keep telling her later (read: maybe, later) and off she goes into the night. I stay at the party we're at and continue to spit game/plant seeds, but eventually I leave (got a couple bloomers, tho). After all the parties are done and alcohol is drunk, I give in and go back to her place at like 3 a.m. and she's hooking up with another dude.

Dude, you had her! I've made this mistake a few times. I've ignored my target or played it cool, but all that does is make her lose interest.

You may have not seen it as a mistake cuase it seemed like you weren't that interested. I wanted to post something before but I just saw this post, what i was going to say is that you don't need to ignore her anymore! You're in, all you gotta do is ACT and take her to her room.

But she probably thought you weren't interested anymore(especially if she's been drinking). This is one of the reasojns I don't really like to play the "mystery/hard to get" card that is talked about so much on ths board. I find that girls are pretty insecure too and if you ignore them they will move on. With all those options why wouldn't they? plus in your case, you moved away so you don't have to play that card anymore.

The bottom line: she wasn't gonna wait for you(especially at 3am and drunk). You shouldve made a move but you still have a chance. thats another topic.
