Cell phones - Texting only

i just notice that using my Sidekick i can have better results setting up dates with the numbers i get from the cold approch... the thing is im way cheap now that im in college.. since i get free text with my SK its the only form of communication i use now on my cell... and using it i get better results...i can just get to the point... dont have to talk on phone for a while before setting up the date..

example:
hey its me shan, we met earler today in math class... what are you doing tonight?
...
HMM nothing why?
...
im going to go get some coffe latter on why dont you join me?
...
sure.where.what time?
...
bla bla.. @ bla bla

The only thing is you have good raport to do this... its hard to build in using text.. but if you have good chem going then text it easier set up dates.

Texting,AIM,instant messaging and such are just as good as talking when you are 18 and under. I would still recommend talking in person or the phone 2nd. I have known PLENTY who have succedded playing the text and instant message game,but they kept it short and to the point.

My gf told me that she loathes phone conversations and would much rather see someone in person or just use text messages.
