She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Yes i know this topic has probably been beaten to death. I did a search for how to get rid of a cold on here, and all i came up with was cold approaches:D
Anyways Monday i did shoulders core workout felt perfectly fine, I woke up Tuesday Morning, and BAM feel like absolute ****. Sore throat, headache, muscle ache, fever, running nose, cough...This is day 3 and still little improvement. Im guessing it was already in my system and the workout just triggered it, because my immune system was down.
So my question is do you guy have anything that works consistently for you in getting rid of these things. OH and another thing don't tell me to rest, the last 2 nights ive been waking up every hour , for some reason, and can't even get a decent, sleep. I wake up Sweating, and my nose is so stuffed i cant breathe.

Ive been trying Vitamin C, Echinachea, fluids, Advil, Neoctrin, multi..

There is no cure for the common cold, you know, thus the 1001 home remedies. Sometimes you are just going to be sick.

Sudafed will help you breathe. If your throat hurts, a tea made from slippery elm will help a lot, the brand I drink is 'Throat Coat' by Traditional Medicinals.

You can also search for anti-virals. This stuff is mostly guesswork, as you never really know if it's working. Green tea, elderberry, and spirulina all are supposed to be anti-viral.

Sore throats are alleviated by cayenne pepper mixed in hot water. Gargle and drink it. It loosens phlegm, relieves pain almost instantly, and helps kill whatever is causing it.
