Is there any validity to this video or are cars overrated?

Never buy a used European car without a warranty, maintenance can get very expensive. If you have to buy a European car and have the money, then buy BRAND new, otherwise look at used Japanese luxury brands.

If you want a affordable sporty ride, look at used G37 Coupe, Nissan 370z, Camaro, Mustang, FR-S. Any of these can be had for around 20k used.
