VERY hard to be fit enough to do pushups for cardio. have to do for at least 15 minutes to have any training effect on the heart and lungs, and you should not train at over 90% of your max heart rate. the max is your age from the number 220. So, if you are 20, dont train at more than 180 bpm, beats per minute. catch your pulse for just 6 seconds, and multiply x 10, taking longer lets the rate drop, cause you stop to catch it, and it will give you a low reading. train too long at more than 90%, and it will result in early death,m ost likely. your heart englarges, and it can only be just so big inside of its sack. If you ever get hurt or sick and stop training, fat builds up inside of your heart sack, and overworks your heart.

Yes of course cardio exercises are the best for the weight loss and fitness improvement.
I also do cardio exercises such as jogging, running, swimming, and cycling in my daily workout for the fitness and weight management.

cardio just keeps you slim, it doesnt really build up the body or the muscles in any meaningful way like resistance training does.

swimming for example is resistance training, which is why swimmers have well developed natural looking muscles

Following are the Cardio exercises:
1. Reduction in blood pressure.
2. Decreased total cholesterol.
3. Increased heart function.
