"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

hey sup guys. Ive been searching through google and saw some sites that recomend not mixing carbs/fat. Only mix carbs/protein and protein/fat. My question is why? If i am bulking and i do mix carbs/fat...will i not get good gains in muscle? Also, does this apply with cutting too?

THANKS!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

mixing carbs and fat does not affect muscular gains, protein intake does.

however when you intake simple carbs (or a large amount of complex carbs) and fat together there is a good chance the resulting insulin surge will encourage adipose deposition since there is fat present.

Whats the deal w. insulin?
Any supps. to take and minimize it?

Or regulate it, in the most effecient manner for building muscle instead of fat.
If some1 w. knowledge could break it down simply... be much appreciated.

insulin isn't a bad thing. it's a hormone which has its time and place i.e. post-workout, in the morning, possibly post cardio as well.

you're thinking far too much. just eat and lift. the smarter you are about all of this, the less you gain :D

Insulin?!! OMG! Did you ever hear of growth hormone? Ever hear of Lutenizing Hormone? Estrogen? Parathyroid hormone?

You know you're NEVER going to make ANY gains until you figure out how to manipulate at least these hormones. You have to measure pretty much everything ou eat. You have to measure time eaitng, what activities you do throughout the day and if everything isn't perfect you will fall apart into a mass of goo.

knowledge is always good, but there's no need to know every little detail. :)

people who try to learn and understand every last thing tend to stay at 135lbs barely squatting their bodyweight (using all manner of 'scientific' workout routines and nutrient-dense diets) while people who just progressively lift and eat get progressively bigger and stronger.

keep in mind that insulin spikes lead to nutrient uptake - this could mean putting nutrients into the muscles post-workout (glycogen) OR nutrients into adipose cels (bodyfat). therefore people who tend to gain fat easily or want to lose bodyfat should avoid insulin spikes except post-workout.

remember that simple sugars (fruit, glucose, honey, etc) cause insulin spikes much more easily than complex carbs (oats, rice, bread). you need to eat A LOT of oats to get the same insulin spike as you would from 30g of dextrose.

that's about all you need to know. (and it's about all I know, too :D)

lol... I hear you.

Got a ? for you though. If insulin spikes happen mostly PWO... and during such spikes, the intake to either fat or muscle increases. Why do people say its cool to eat fattier foods then?

Would those fattier foods just be mainlined into the adipose cells?

If that is the case, I would think PWO times would be the opposite. Meaning... the primary time to be eating healthier foods.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. In that nutrient uptake to the bodyfat doesn't necessarly make for a faster way to channel the sh!t foods into your fat.

Hope you follow my confusion, lol. Help a brutha sort this sh!t out.

Also... would it be advisable to use this knowledge to capitalize on it. Like taking a little honey pre protein shake? So the insulin picks up... then when we feed our body the following protein, it would be mainlined into our muscle?

Thx Man!
