"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Can't remember the feeling

Have you reached a point of truly not caring whether a girl is in your life or not, if she replies to your messages or not, drops off the face of the earth or not?

I haven't had an exclusive relationship in a year, and anyone since then I've been 100% DGAF. I can't remember what it feels like to want to be in a relationship right now. There's not a single girl I'd walk across the street for if it meant taking the shine off my day. It's gotta be easy or I couldn't be bothered. I'm dating, but anyone who even gives a hint of a red flag doesn't get a call back and I never give them another thought. I've either become really good at not giving a toss, or becoming cold.

How many of you have stayed this way long term, and who has eventually caught the feels again for a girl later?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

ive been in this mode for a year and a half. i also worked in nightlife and stripclubs which jaded me further after a 2 yr relationship with a girl. nowadays i dont even try for relationship and im not looking for love because i know what it entails. im on my player chit i dont give a fuk about catching feelings for anyone or getting on that level. whats the point when every relationship has an expiration date and marriage is a horrible deal and the way our society is changing chit up...nah man im sweet.

That's where I'm at. I'm genuinely not bitter or cynical, but I just can't recall what it feels like to really care whether something lasts for a while or goes up in smoke.

Hello
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone home?

Come on now
I hear you're feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
And get you on your feet again

Relax
I'll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts

There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I had a fever

My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am

I have become comfortably numb

I have become comfortably numb

O.K.
Just a little pin prick
There'll be no more... aaaaaaaah!
But you might feel a little sick
Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good

That'll keep you going, for the show
Come on it's time to go.

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
And I have become
Comfortably numb.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
