If you want a loyal companion, get a dog. Then use the dog as a prop to meet women; the dog won't mind.

This. A dog is an 1000x better companion then some woman. A dog will always be thrilled to see you no matter what. That is definitely not the case with women. My most recent ex lived with me for a year, and she drove me nuts. I'm just the type of person that needs my own space.

Plus, as long as you feed it and treat it well, a dog is 100% loyal.
