Can't believe I'm asking for advice, but....

Went clubbing out in Maryland and did alright, no numbers but plenty of grinding. The bars down in Annapolis are pretty lively, but the girls like most northern east coasters aren't too friendly. But I did learn somethings tonite.

1. Get to Annapolis early (8:30 pm), apparently most folks have coupled up by then.
2. The guys who did well with the girls dressed very casually.
3. The girls friends tossed up a lot of **** blocks. So get target girl away from friends.(Duh)
4. Excersize and get into a positive mood before going out.

So now that I've shared some lessons learned here's what I want advice on:

1. Timing the approach, I waited about 60 seconds but got the feeling that was to long. Whats the best timing for an approach.
2. Best way to approach on a dance floor. The "Hi I'm <name>" didnt work so well. Though the just coming up and dancing with a girl did. Any suggestions.
3. Any generalized bar and clubbing knowledge would be great since I'm heading back out tomorrow.
4. Any specific advice about Maryland girls would be great. Its been a long time since I've been in that state.

1. Once you decide that you are interested, make your move. Three seconds is more than enough
2. Don't sneak up and ambush them from behind. Only AFCs do that. Let them see you coming, if they are interested they will let you know. Pay attention
3. Read the latest post about an outing with M.A.C. It covers good moves and not so good moves.
4. Women are women. What matters is your confidence and your level of control.

Somewhat better results...somewhat.

So I went out again, except this time there were a lot less younger people out for some reason, most were 30 and up. But I did grind and slow dance with a few girls that were there. I had to next one because she decided to head out. Also I tried stepping in between two cute girls that were dancing and busting out some moves, they smiled but one pushed me aside and came threw her arms around the other girl and the started making out and licking each other. As you guessed they turned out to hard core lesbos, can't really get around that unless they are bi which they weren't. Still I improved my approaches and had a good time, though I can see why so many DJs hate clubs and bars. I think I'll save the clubs and bars for when I'm going with a bunch of friends, I tend to do better with them for some reason.
