The frustratingly broken English aside, does make a good point that many commercials, sitcoms and movies portray men as imbeciles.
And yes, I'm amazed at how often make characters are ridiculed, chastised and abused by their wives, work colleagues and daughters.
There's an insurance company in Australia called RACQ. YouTube their tv ads and see how often they portray men as mindless dolts who need women to pull them into line.
Refreshingly, there's another company called Budget Direct car insurance which regularly features an older man dating a hot young French chick.
She pronounces "Budget" as "boojay" and he constantly chides her, saying: "It's budget, love".
I'm sure it's a subtle dig at RACQ's man shaming ads.
Of course, the femcvnts in Australia jumped all over the Budget ads, firstly for portraying a "dirty old man" with a hot young woman, and secondly for making fun of her French pronunciation of "boojay".
Thankfully, there were a few of us who protested on social media and pointed out RACQ's ads. Sanity was restored.
Seriously, check out most television programs' portrayal of male characters. And in movies - even hard-fighting epics like Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings - and see how women come and save the day after the men get themselves stupidly into trouble.
Then the latest remake of Robin Hood had Maid Marian swinging a sword in the final battle.
It's a goddamn joke.
