I've started an opinion blog, and part of its content will be question and answer, I.E. a man's version of Dear Abby. PM me questions to answer on the blog (I'll change the names manually for anonyminity purposes if I post them)

It will be a column of two types. If you want the a-hole answer (for comedy purposes), put "To The Bastard:" in the title. If you want a serious answer, write "Serious answer needed:" in the title. If it has neither one, I'll answer as one or the other depending on my mood at the time, so put neither one in the title if you want me to surprise you.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
