"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Can it ever be masculine for a man to dance on a pole?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'd never try to master this, but I've danced on a pole before at a parking lot party while attending a Jimmy Buffet concert. You wouldn't believe the girls that got excited and approached me. Some left their boyfriends standing off to the side to join in on the fun. Most were 15yrs younger than me.

Do you guys really need this explained to you? Dudes take pole dancing classes to meet girls. All those picks had one dude and a bunch of girls pretending to be strippers.

I don't know how pretending to be interested in pole dancing to meet girls interested in becoming strippers is any different from pretending to be a photographer to meet strippers who are interested in becoming models.

A guy pretends to be [current popular trend] to meet girls.

Same as it ever was.

I've taken yoga classes, cooking classes, meditation classes, acting classes, Tai Chi classes and all kinds of classes at community colleges. If they had a pole dancing class I would have taken it.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Pretending? You call taking 50 photos formally rated by a third party service 96% or higher pretending? You call working on camera technology for Apple (and taking home 1/3 of a million this year) pretending? You call reporting modeling expenses to the IRS pretending? Why don't you pretend to get laid once in a while, Wang Chung?

Man, you Asians went from ripping off our technology and the People of Wal-Mart (and green rivers) to outright temper tantrums. We kicked your ass in Midway and we'll do it again.

PS - This girl is now a computer programmer. Tomorrow's model is a waitress, the following a hostess, and next is a checkout girl.

you know neil you are not the only one who did the photo strippers for model as a thing to meet or have a quickie, so you don't need to be but hurt, I also didn't see him mentioning you.

Damn dude! Lighten up Francis.

I wasn't slamming you in the least. I'm merely pointing out that dudes do things not because we really want to do those things, but we think/hope doing those things will get us laid.

I even mentioned all the goofy stuff I've done (forgot to mention a couple of ballroom dancing classes I took) to meet girls (successfully). Do you think I EVER would have taken a yoga class if I thought it was going to be full of dudes?

No, I would not.

And YOU would stop being a "photographer" in a couple of nanoseconds of you could ONLY take pictures of trees.

And since you are asking others of PROOF of their "online boasts," do you have any PROOF that ANYTHING you've done as a "photographer" has ever turned a profit?

In a sense, you're not much different than "musicians" who carry their guitars around (and get laid) without every having SOLD any music.

Again, I'M NOT SLAMMING YOU, so take a deep breath and see the big picture here.

I'm merely pointing out that dudes taking pole dancing classes MAY BE DOING SO so they can get laid. Just like YOU are a photographer so YOU can get laid (or fall in love).

Get it?

(BTW, do all these girls who've pictures you've taken as a photographer know that you keep posting them on a men's forum to support your boasts about your lady slaying skills?)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You couldn't pay me...just no. I mean, this little thing called "pride" exists in all of us and I don't exactly feel like smashing mine into the ground and pissing on it.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
