"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Can anyone confirm this (crazy ****)

This was premeditated act, just as was 9-11.

Looting has sprung up b/c supplies are on short order. Millions have been displaced, and treated like animals. As far as we know, people are without food, shelter, sanity, showers, clothing, etc, basically everything, what have they got to lose? It's survival of the fittest. And though it isn't right to fire or shoot on officials, what else would you do if you felt abandoned by your government, those we pay to protect us, inform us, and take care of us???

Well, you were doing okay, until about there. Just as Antichrist said, a hurricane is NOT a premeditated act. How the hell could one possibly consider it to be one? While, yes, whoever was in charge of the levees should have done more to prevent what happened, it's not like anyone intentionally made them weak so that New Orleans would be wiped out.

And how the hell can you excuse shooting on the officials? It's not like they were just firing on police officers (still bad enough). These people were firing on people that were there to help and rescue them. No matter how pissed off at the government they were, nothing can excuse that. Even if they did feel abandoned by their own government (which is understandable, seeing as it should have acted faster), why the hell would they fire on people trying to help them? This event was a terrible tragedy and disaster, but the people that have been looting, raping, killing, etc. are all nothing but scum and don't deserve help from any of us.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

No body knew what was going to happen (only god and a few crazy drunk homeless preachers did.) People need to take a long hard look at the La state government, the federal government apporiates funds and resources for events like these but its up to the states and local governments to use and document that they have been used properly. Further more, a lot more places where devestated and hit hard besides New Orleans, from the delta to gator land, lets not forget the rest of that region who has to put up with and deal with problems just as big as they do.

Pray, give blood, and come up off that loose pocket change.....

Lobyists for over protective nature people and fishermen did not want the levi's tampered with beacuse it was supposedly going to kill the fish in the area. People have been trying to get the levi's upgraded since the 70's.

Actualy On_The_Top I just saw a news clip of the cyclone that hit florida 13 yeras ago saying it was dam lucky it missed NO beacuse it would have been gone, and that sometime in the future it was going to happen it was all just a matter of time. But would be imposible to guess when.

A hurricane may not be a premeditated act, but there sure as hell is such a thing as premeditated INACTION.

food 4 thought

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

yes, the police and national guard have been given the order to shoot excessive looters, that would be the ones who come out of the store with armfuls of designer brand clothes, not the people who go and take a pair of jeans because they need it.
