Quick Question

Im going to Dominican Republic for 10 days, but Im not telling my girl that Im going there... I want to tell her another place....

Now I want to buy a calling card to call her

QUESTION: When I call her through the calling card on her cell phone, will the area code of Dominican Republic appear on her caller ID?

Or will I be able to get away with it?

I'm not sure if it changes because of international differences. I doubt it. But when you use a calling card in the states it shows up some random area code from the calling card itself not where ever you are.

I think it would be pretty safe to say you'd be ok

Make sure you get an international pre paid card here in the USA first. The number will be routed through the US and show up as a US #.

If you buy one there you might have problems considering it would probably run through one of the Dominican Republic's #'s
