Here is a little something that my friends were debating about and want to hear you guys' and gals' reponses to.

1.) You get a girls phone number ...

2.) You call the girl and leave a message on her voicemail..

3.) The girl never calls back...

4.) What Do You Do????????

There are probably a number of things that different people would do.......

a.) say screw it and try back a week later or at least 5 days later.

b.) keep trying to get ahold of her by calling back........

c.) say screw it and never call her again.......


well lets hear it I bet it has all happened to you some time or another, I sure as h3LL know it has happened to me and I just never bother calling back..... So what do you do???????

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Well, I don't leave a message if she doesn't answer. I would give her a call the following week and if she doesn't answer then I'll just scratch her number out.

That's giving up a bit too easily in my book - you should try calling 2 or 3 times if you get the answer machine straight off.

People are human - I know I don't always get to my phone quick enough before it goes to voicemail.

I have to agree with Eyecandie. Either she is interested or she isn't. Having to chase after a woman by calling more than once without a callback is like trying to force her to talk to you. If the IL is low, why waste the effort?

If she actually calls back, what's the chance of a date? If there is a date, what is the chance that it's just for a free meal? If it was just for a free meal, what chance is there of another date?

Get my point? It's like the stock market, although it's all based on speculation, you don't invest in a company that doesn't show any type of growth, now would you?
