I've been a lurker on the board for a while, but I've run into a problem I can't seem to work out.
This bar I've been going to over the last couple of years has a waitress that's making things very hard for me with other servers. When I first started going to the bar I flirted with her in a ****y and funny way, and asked for her number. She declined my advances but was cool about it. I kept flirting with her for a couple more weeks, then one night me and my buddy sat down at a prominent table in the busiest part of the bar/restaurant. She came up and told us in the *****iest way possible that the table was reserved(for her friends I found out later). I just kind of blew her attitude off and got up and found another spot.
After that night I decided that I wasn't going to interact with her anymore in any way. Her attitude had embarrassed us and made us look bad in front the other people in the bar. Anyway, it looks like she took my ignoring her personally because she refuses to wait on us(sometimes the bar is so busy she has the only open section), which is fine with me, but she's also talking crap about us to the other wait staff. She has a lot of clout at the place because she's been there a couple of years.
I know this sounds kind of petty, but she's ruining any game I might have going with the other waitresses. There have been several who really seem to be responding to me, then I see her talking to them and looking over at me and(I'm not just imagining this) then they turn completely cold towards me. I've tried to just blow it off or hang out at other places, but I live in a small town and this is by far the best bar to go to. I'm pretty sure she's just doing it for spite, but I can only imagine what she could be saying about me. I didn't want to lend any credibility to what she is saying but I did mention the problem to one of the assistant managers and he pretty much ignored me.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I heard that cvnt gave a guy crabs and then poured sugar in his gastank when he demanded she pay for the medical bill.

Work the rumor mill. You've been going there a coupla' years you should have some clout with the other mattresses other than this b!tch. Make her life hell there. Complain to the manager about everyfvckingthing she does or doesn't do. Spread rumors. When you get her as a mattress don't tip the b!tch, send everything back three times, spill sh!t all over. Show her you don't give a flyin' fvck about her or her cronies.

Or . . .

FIND ANOTHER FVCKIN' PLACE TO HANG OUT!

Truly diabolical :)

Something drastic one "could" do is give the ol' Health Department a call with an anonymous call regarding rodent or roach infestation. Easy enough to cause it . . .

Wouldn't be good business if they came in to inspect the place at dinner rush.

This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where George dated a waitress. If you've seen that episode, you'll know what to do...try and get her sacked! Hopefully you'll have more success than George did though.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Move to another larger town. This is why small towns suck, because you have to be committed to the people there. When married move to a smaller town. When single increase your rollability by living near or in a place that has several destinations for you to explore with whatever degree you'd like to explore it. You don't have to worry about wearing out your welcome in such a place or be bound by anybody's whimps in the moment of your peace in any establishment. Almost any time a guy wants to fight me in an establishment (just happened again last week - envy), the bartender, bouncers etc back me up because they know my good nature and reputation (and that I would not instigate anything).

I just can't help laughing at this one, sorry.

Find someplace else to hang and don't buy bread and meat at the same store in the future.

DUDE A YEAR HAS PAST AND NOW YOU ARE WORKING THE STAFF........sheesh taking your time as in ACTIVE DIS-INTEREST is not to be taken literally.

Forget the HIRED GUNS (wait staff) and BRING A CHIC WITH YOU....social proof or hit on women a the bar.

Stop worrying about what this waitress is barking about and focus on meeting women. Whats the obsession with dating a waitress..........if you must date one.........find out where they HANG OUT OUTSIDE THE BAR....then go there (workout place, school, mall, etc)

But by all means.........FOCUS ON YOU AND NOT WHAT OTHERS THINK. C OCK blockers are annoying..........so move on.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

It's obviously not the best bar to hang out at for you because she is ruining your time there. Go to a different place.

Now, I get the impression that there is more to this story than you're telling. I was a waitress for many years and the behavior you describe is not typical waitress behavior. For a waitress to hold that bad of a grudge towards a customer you had to have really pissed her off and just sitting at a table her friends were going to sit at and had reserved would never lead to that kind of behavior. You're leaving something significant out of your story. Was she waiting on you while you were at that table and then told you that you would have to move and you got mad and then didn't tip her after she had waited on you?

F*ck that b*tch and her no life having a$$.

Socail Proof is so important...

If a waitress told me a table I had sat in was reserved WITH AN ATTITUDE I would have laughed at her ass.

Honestly Wyldfire, I didn't say or do anything out of the way towards her. That night she wasn't our server(she's never been our server since then either). Like I said in my first post, I did completely ignore her that night and for the next several weeks. Maybe she's not used to that, or very vindictive, I don't know. She is very attractive. It's a strange situation.
Thanks
