TSLA just hit $1,300 today. I'm definitely kicking myself for not buying when I saw it at $380 - I kept thinking that it would go down more and if it hit $250 I would buy in...

TSLA is a cult stock, specifically it's a cult of personality around Elon Musk.

On a positive note, I did catch a piece of TVIX during the run up..... too bad it's delisted now.
I think a lot of us are thinking the same thing. The biggest losers are all the people that shorted it and talked smack on all the Tesla forums.

I'm just waiting to see if Nikola can take on the Trucking industry but it's definitely gotten off to a rocky start. Not to mention scandal revelations that's come out about the CEO.

Well whoever is in the traditional salesmanship line, now might be a good idea for some retraining in order to assume another job scope.

Looks like it's gonna happen: Walmart plans to convert 160 of their parking lots into drive in theaters.

When I was a kid I always imagined how cool it would be to take girls out on dates to drive-ins. It never happened because drive-ins went extinct in the late 90s. Glad to see them come back so I can do what I should have done when I was 22....

Means tinting windows business is about to moon. I can’t imagine going to a drive in movie theater with a chick without tinted windows

Just make sure you get 20% or darker(which is illegal in most states unfortunately). I had 35% tint and at night, you can still make out the sillouhettes. I checked AFTER doing a chick in the drive-in last summer. LOL

Otherwise, you'll have to do hillbilly style for maximum privacy. LOL

Just thought of another one: Red Box...... I honestly haven't rented a movie from RedBox in like 1.5 years..... There just hasn't been any good movies where I would want to rent, or if it's a really good movie I'd just buy the DVD.....

RedBox has been on the endangered species list for a couple of years, now with Disney launching their Disney+ streaming service, this could the end of RedBox....

I am reading unscripted by mj demarco. With covid pandemic flu, its going to be destroying ma and pa shops. Family dinners and restaurants. The bug is real but it is a power play. I am curious how dangerous it is compared to the actual flu? I suspect it is a dependent on age and health.

I don't think there's a more dangerous time to be a entrepreneur and ironically enough, its never been more monumental to one's own freedom.

This is my life and I am going to die for it.

It is estimated to be at least five times more deadly than the flu. However, it's not just the mortality rate that is troubling. The long-term effects are something still being studied. Most people with moderate to severe COVID-19 infections are reporting long-haul symptoms. The virus causes serious damage to the vascular and respiratory system. Even if you survive, is it worth permanent lung damage?

There are opportunities abound on the other side of this thing. Like war and times of great disturbance, builders and problem solvers come out of this better. Don't say you are going to die for it; that isn't necessary. Stay safe, have good foresight, and press on.

I saw a report. It said that the lungs looked like a person drowned. I am curious if it is a bio weapon. I mean, entrepreneurship. Going out on my shield. I feel bad for those losing it all. The virus and gov shutdown are a example of reliance on the faulty script. The beaten path. Goku is not coming tp save the z fighters.

The dine in restaurant model will suffer. Even before covid, pizza huts near me were closing the old dine in stores and reopening as carry out or delivery only. Restaurants have outside seating set up for now, but that is only realistic when the weather is good.
same here papa johns does takeout and its killing other pizza joints

Malls and theatres were already going extinct, the pandemic just sped things up.

The same with dine in places every since Uber Eats got popular.

I agree.

The smart mall owners are now converting most of the retrail space to services oriented businesses such as kid's trampoline park, escape rooms, and other experienced based businesses. There's also a trend to convert some wings of the mall into senior condo's which is perfect if you think about it because they will have everything there as those are the people that can't really travel far and also have an indoor walking area to excercise.

Somewhat related to the topic, Pfizer's new vaccine requires storage at 80 below zero, as do the other vaccine candidates as well. Dry ice and cryo freezers are going to be in great demand. They may become difficult to buy and it is possible the government could seize them in transit under the emergency powers act like they did with ppe in the spring.

Yep this thing just accelerate many trends that were already happening but slowed by the huge baby boomer generation who are essentially still in power. And weirdly enough, it's also killing many of the baby boomers. Maybe we should listen to nature and innovation? Working from home, etc. We've also put a huge clamp on the oil industry, but honestly, shouldn't that be happening anyway? It'll never go away, but it does seem we were wasting a lot of it. I wish we could figure out some technology to recycle more prevalently. All this takeout and delivery is generating a lot of waste.

Much of the tourism industry will rebound once a vaccine is in place. So many of them are going belly up now because they didn't have a nest egg to protect themselves in hard times, which you should always have in that industry. Not to mention the world is getting much cleaner now, with all these protocols in place, that are likely here to stay. Very glad that alcohol is renewable resource.

I don't know anything that will die off completely simple due to a virus.
