"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I've graduated college, but I don't have a profession yet. I'm going to be an after grad next fall.

I want to have cards to give people with my number and email. Any ideas for designs or what information I should include? Thanks!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

This is kind of cheesy but I mean, it's diffirent.
When I was in grade 12 as a joke I printed up a few business cards that said

"John Doe"
"Personal Escort"
(and then in big letters...)

V-CARD

And then if I gave one out I'd make sure she 'gave it back.' "I don't want you taking that now."

It was a little immature and high-school like. But it always got the giggles. Take it or leave it.

Hmmm, I guess my graduate major would be pretty sweet to have for the next couple years. I think I'll do that!

That was kind of cheesy 12AJ, but I'm glad it worked for you back then. Personal escort might be funny, but it also might be too suggestive.

Still--thanks for the input guys!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

It WAS highschool right? I'm just saying you could go professional with it but not to rule keeping it light and fun and memorable.

I can make you one or you can go to vistaprint.com where they already have premade cards and I think you can get them for free but you gotta pay shipping. Send me a message if you want me to make you one. Include the info you'd like on the card.
