You can't treat a 21st century woman like Fred treated Ethel and expect them to take it. But you can make them play by the rules they created. Basically Let them qualify themselves as being "equivalent" not equal. Praise them on their earning power, and career options and hold them responsible for the rights they have.

If you get in an argument with a woman over femisism you have already lost. instead, let her prove to you she is equal through her actions.
