"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Can you guys give me some advice on how to stay positive. Feeling kind of nihilistic lately. I've done my best to make my life amazing, but sometimes sh*t happens that is out of ones hands and is uncontrollable. How do you guys stay positive during these times?

Thanks bros!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Do something that makes you happy. I like to play shooters on my ps4 or go out with my bro's and have some beers and talk to the ladies. Or workout, best choise.

Just get off sosuave and do something easy and relaxing.

Confront the nihilism and the emptiness. Do not run from it. See what you find. Our society is molded so that we should run from depression, or that there is something wrong with it. In fact it can be quite healthy and necessary.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Look up old friends you've lost contact with and go see them, even if it's out of town, that even be better actually.. a new change = a fresher mind

You make a good point! How do you think i should go about confronting my nihilism or inner issues?

I think that this is a main factor that I may be avoiding. Could you please elaborate on how i should go about confronting these issues?

Thanks for the advice bro! I actually need to be getting in touch with my friends. It's been hard seeing as university is very demanding and i rarely ever have time to actually lay back and chill with my boys

Its hard to say, i dont know what it is you are feeling exactly.. So it is your own journey really.

I would sit and just let the thoughts/feelings arise as they do. Dont fuel the fire Or latch on to them but just watch as they come and go, and see if you feel more at peace after a period of time. Aka meditation.

You are not your thoughts.. You dont have to believe them.

You're never going to be able to remain positive 100% of the time. By definition a positive state of mind implies a negative one preceded it.

Like a surfer you ride the wave of negativity knowing that the positive lies shortly after.

Meditation helps you walk the path between negative and positive but takes hard work and practice if you're willing to put the time and effort in for the long haul as opposed to a quick fix. I've been meditating solidly every day for a over a year and a half and I still get depressed.
