I was playing football with a few mates recently and got hit in the nose. It didnt seem to bother me at first, because no blood came out athough my nose hurt a bit. Since then it has become severely congested. This is bothering me, as I am pretty sure its not a broken nose (no swelling, no bump, no pain). However, the nasal congestion is very annoying as it prevents me from sleeping and the over-the counter decongestion sprays can only be used for like 3 consecutive days. Its been about 5 days and I have had a minor improvement in symptoms, but am still severely congested. I have decided to wait about another week before I go see a doctor. Has anyone had this kind of experience before, and did it just go away or what?
