Broken Jaw Help

I have a fractured jaw bone on my left side, i believe the soft part, above the lip, i wanted to correct this defect but i dunno what is is store for me, have anyone of you gotten a broken jaw bone from fighting, sports injury , accident , or anything of the nature, and did u get this flaw fixed?
I heard they make a incission does this leave a scar?

from a sports injury, playing flag football ran into somones sholder, broke the jaw, it was a while ago and i didnt experince that much pain, i just found out when i went to the orthodontist and he said u have a facial deformity i dindt really notice it, but now i do, i can see how the left side laggs down a lil bit,
