"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Time does not mend a broken heart as scientists find condition causes long-term damage

A team of medical researchers from the University of Aberdeen have said that so-called "broken heart syndrome" can leave physical scars that never recover.

British Heart Foundation-funded study followed 52 patients over four months, aged between 28 and 87, who suffered with what is officially known as takotsubo syndrome.

Figures show that between three per cent and 17 per cent of sufferers die within five years of diagnosis.

Around 90 per cent are female and the stressful trigger - often associated with the sudden death of a loved one - is identified in around 70 per cent of cases.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Around 3,000 people per year in the UK suffer from the rare syndrome, which mostly affects women.
This doesn't surprise me at all.

All the things I keep repeating on the forum are verified with this study...

- One-itis for a man is a temporary malady while one-itis for a woman is a terminal illness.
- A woman is permanently damaged once she's been alpha-widowed.
- Women are the ones who have soul-mates. Men do not.
- All the men on her high score list never live up to the man on the top

Women never heal from that first real "broken heart". It sends them on a seemingly uncontrollable path where they drink, party, and have random sex trying to deal with the loss of their "soul mate". Then they marry someone who's "good enough" while they fondly remember the first guy who really made his impression on her.

What if they already do this before getting alpha-widowed? Are these types of women unable to love a man at all then? Or can you still hit her high score list really hard and scar her forever?
