What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

Prior to the current war, I had traveled to Russia quite a bit - and I even can't fathom how a Westerner would want to go there now.

Private prisons and police unions lobby for tougher drug laws.

Cops require less risk to arrest non-violent criminals and prisons get cheap, non-violent labor.
