Ok I heard this on the radio today!

Healine: Looks really do count

Women in britian will choose a "hunky" guy over an "intelligent" guy according to a recent poll.Scientist say women will choose the hunky guy, because it will increase there future sons chances of being loved!

What do you guys make of that?

Are chicks that shallow?

Do the not so good looking / smart guys have any chance with women?

Intelligence counts for little

Of course looks are important. You might notice how important they are to us men, too.

But everyone's different. People tend to have minimum requirements for each facet of a person's qualities. For most women, the minimum acceptable intelligence is way below that of looks, personality, and masculinity. Even intelligent women.

But I can't get involved with a gal who's not brilliant, period. Don't even want a one-nighter with a stupid gal. I can't help but think there are some gals who are the same way. Though I'm sure they have minimum attractiveness requirements, too.

Why would anyone date a genius that looks like the Hound of the Baskervilles???

I don't care what anyone says, people date who they feel is attractive and looks do play a part. To what extent and to what definition of attractive is unique to anyone but I defy anyone to say that looks do not matter.
