"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I've come across an article which I think paints a pretty damn good picture of how bad British men and women are at interacting with each other, so I thought I'd share it with you fine people.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-flirt--home-How-Brits-need-flirt-phobia.html

British people are so reserved and polite, it's gotten absurd. Just as the article states, it's become a vicious cycle for these poor guys. Men are so bad at approaching women, because women are so bad at giving off signals. Round and round we go. These IOIs we're supposed to look out for VERY rarely exist in Britain unless the woman's had a few drinks of JD & Coke.

Thoughts?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I understand the article full well, cause I grew up in a highly Britainized private school and church system. The girls there K-12 showed no signals, except the ones I did not want who'd leave long notes in my locker etc. get guys to call me for them etc. If anyone was found out to be drinking on the weekend, they'd be expelled Monday morning by the principal as one of my girlfriends was (she'd been attending there since preschool too..a lot of tuition, no remorse though, she was labelled a degenerate and wh0re - it was known that I'd fvcked her at a party (losing my virginity as well) there was a couple in the closet making out as well watching me fvck her on the bed that night, I didn't get called in to the office though don't know why cept that I was friends with the president's grandson).

But the girls were cold there, Very hard to read, they never gave off signals, not like out in the real world, not like when I went off to college, and beyond. Took a while for me to adjust after being sheltered for so long. The girls were very "booky" just all about knowledge, and puritanic shunning any kind of sex (it was more about being found out, cause they'd observed other girls pretty soon having to leave the school cause of the stigma of sex before marriage - Everybody gossiped, everybody knew who was the girl to avoid like the plague). It was sad really, if you got labelled, you might as well, pack up your supplies from your locker and leave for some public school cause your reputation was forever ruined. I hated that environment, but my parents sent me there my entire school life. It's just a kind of Stepford, just no touching, hands off, environment, where everybody was just "goody good." I Never had luck with such girls, and I have tried to go back and have luck with these kinds of girls and Still have no ability to establish any kind of sexual connection cause they are so turned off. It's debilitating. Thankful to have found a plethora of women who aren't like that and will fvck at the drop of a hat.

Your choice of course, the articles on that site are normally full of rubbish. However I feel I should add that the writer of this particular article is not a journalist. She's an author who has a book coming out on this particular subject.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I think it's a bit of a ridiculous article. Sure, some people, both men and women don't know how to flirt, even attractive women.
We have the same problems here as every other western nation, with idiot guys handing out lame compliments to attractive women, making them sick of hearing a generic undeserved "I think you're amazing"...to the other end of the scale, with attention wh0re's who think that just because they possess breasts, then they just have to look at a man to get him to come running.

I knew the article was BS when the author stated that she was a female "social anthropologist" from the American midwest. My suspicions were further confirmed when she said: "Britain’s problems start with men" (don't they always? :D )
