"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hello chums.

Though I've never posted here I'd like to say that I've been using this site for years with much success. During my freshman year of college I was loving the single life and strayed as far away from LTR's as much as possible. After some months however I started dating one of the hottest girls in our grade. She has a lot going for her as far as looks, motivation, accomplishments etc. So she was a catch worth holding on to... ANYWAY, it was a decent relationship however I'm beginning my senior year and I have had enough. It's time to be single again. Now I've told her how I feel and we're seperated.

Now I'm seeking advice not because I "need to get over her etc. ." That's not the problem. The problem lies in the fact that we have had the same mutual friends for the past 2-3 years of college. She's not the most outgoing so our friends gravitate towards me before her. It's not that I mind her being around it's that I simply can't interract with woman to the same extent as if she weren't there. I have a wide enough social circle where I could avoid being around her, (and I do) however I do enjoy hamming it up with these gals/guys. Now you could say "just go out with everyone and don't worry about scoring woman," which I also have been doing but doing this only extends the breakup process and makes it harder for her. I also cannot catch my friends on a night when she isn't around, because she ALWAYS is and does not stay away from them.

So as easy as it would be for me to say **** it, and not concern myself with it, I would like to end this relationship on a reasonable note. This is not to say that I expect her and I to be friends but I don't want to kick her while shes down. I've met some real *****s out there and in comparison she's a solid girl and doesn't deserve it. My question to you chums is how would you suggest ending this ordeal on a dignified note while still having fun with my buddies? (And continuing the incoming stream of strange ass.)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Tough situation, I was in one while in college as well... cept my girl at the time would hang around our friends just to spite me and make things uncomfortable.

Really I have no advice.. I ended up leaving that group because i didn't want to see her like that, just really uncomfortable. If your girl is 'sane' sit her down and explain the situation and see if u can't work it out like adults... mines was crazy so i just left... upto u

There's no nice way to say "You're not attractive enough to keep me." So don't expect a lot of warmth.

But it's simple: when a chick dumps me, we can still have the same mutual friends and hang out.

You just need to STFU about flirting, girls, and dating. No opinions on girls. No opinions on what you find attractive. Absolutely no mention of the other chicks you're seeing. If you do that crap, she'll say you're rubbing it in her face (and she will be right.)

Just make all conversations G-rated when she's there, and you can keep it totally friendly. I'm just going by the reverse situation.
