"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Wow, this show is incredible. If you guys want a show to watch I highly recommend this one. Have any of you guys seen it?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Yeah that's the truth. I thought the junkie girl was super cute as well, too bad she was a junkie (kind of a turn-off).

That show is a perfect example of how getting big from the ground up in the drug trade is an overall bad idea. I like that and Sons of Anarchy for showing stylized reasons why being a criminal is a sh*tty life but enjoyable to watch from the outside.

Yeah, it's fantastic. I like the overall tone.

I also like Dexter but lately it's jumped the shark with the whole incest angle and the changes in the character making him more sloppy and moral. It's a shame the first few seasons were amazing.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I love it... only seen the first 3 episodes though. I'm watching them on Netflix and they haven't added season 4 yet.

Incredible show, though.

Yeah I'm watching it on netflix too, just ended the 3rd season. I hope the 4th comes out quick because the ending was pretty suspenseful and I don't want to read what happens so I guess I'll have to wait.

San Jose California said:
I thought it was pretty gay, how, when Jesse was at the drug meeting where Gus handed him a gun, and Jesse made coffee, how after Jesse finished smoking the cigarette outside, he dropped it on the ground and then put it out with his foot. I mean, dude, this is a meth meeting, none of gus's henchmen security guards are gonna care about not being pollution friendly, and he's around a bunch of dirt so nothing will ignite because of the cigarette. He should flicked it a good distance or something and looked cool, considering this.

That scene is rather crappy, right up there with "if you could kill me... I'd already be dead!"
I don't know, the scene where Jesse comes to terms that he's the bad guy selling meth to the people in rehab was pretty intense.

Have you watched this from the beginning? You need to get in the flow of things and it makes much more sense. If you don't like the first episode, you won't like the show.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
