I have recently ended an LTR (8 months) thats long right?? LOL. In the past 3 weeks I have had my booty calls "on call" but am still kinda hurting from the previous girl. You guys ever just take breaks?? The ex has really did a number on me and I just don't want to hop back into dating quite yet.
I would really like to talk to the ex but she is a little pist off right now saying I took her forgranted and sh*t. (previous post will state that I probably DJ'ed for little longer then needed with this girl). I am friends with ALL my exs....This girl just seems really pist right now. But she was a great friend also. Obviously no contact is the best thing, but I would like to be friends with this girl in the future. How long do you guys usually take to let the dust settle?
I know that f^cking these other girls would get my mind off this chick but I kinda lost my sex-drive after the breakup. Cared for this girl more then I thought I guess. I kinda wanna just chill and concentrate on myself....basically because i just feel wrong about even being able to have sex with others girls right now. I would be kinda pissed if she was hum*ing some dude. But I guess I really don't know.....so that is that.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Become friends for what? To hear how her necx 10 studs are mistreating her?

She says you took her for granted --- that very womaneese meaing what? You shoudd know - well its too late now

The dust will never settle....move on to a brighter future and keep yourself busy with other things.

Don't cal her - I know you are itching to - but I think she has made up her mind and thought about it way before she told you and is already on someone else's mind or should I say has someone else on her mind.

When you hear the words "took me for granted" that means you didn't give her the attention that she deired or so desperately needed so she will find someone else that gives it to her - that is if she doesn't have someone already! This lack of attention has been going on for months and she has been dissatisfied for months and that is when women start looking for other dudes (not after they tell you bye) - so don't be shocked if she has been humping someone else .

I don't think it's unnatrual to want to take a break from dating after having ended an LTR. I think, actually, that it's more harmful than anything to try to date and/or sleep with other people when you don't feel like you want to. It's not about keeping score. It's about doing what feels right for you.

As for being friends with the girl, only time and distance will be able to tell you if that is possible. Take some time out for yourself for a while. It will be good for you.

(Is there any chance to salvage the relationship? If she felt you were taking her for granted and you know that's now how you really are ... perhaps it could work out.)
