Hey, I want to gain muscle mass, some background info: 6' weigh around 150 lbs, I'm definitely not bulky but I'm not scrawny, my little bit of mass is all toned..
I started taking Jiu Jitsu classes, basically Tuesdays and Thursdays two hours each so a total of 4 hours. Every time I come out of it feels like ****ing great exercise and the next day all my muscles are sore as hell.
I read Warboss's and Diesel's guides to gaining and muscle mass and it seems to me you need to eat alot and work out alot as well so I'm thinking, would I get any muscle mass from doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? My leg muscles get pretty sore and my abs and back a little bit. Since I have access to my university's cafeteria free 24/7 food is not a problem for me, I eat alot before and after.
Is this good alone? Not effective for muscle mass at all?(Though it increases my endurance and flexibility alot) I'm thinking taking another perhaps another day of two hours exercise, maybe swimming, or arms and back, I don't think I need to do that many squats but I may be wrong. Thanks guys
