I just spent ten months in Brazil and wanted to share my outlook on things. Brazil is an enormous country, and the quality of women and the range from socially conservative to liberal varies a lot. Here are some things to consider if anyone is planning a trip there.
There is a major difference in culture between the north and the south. I would personally vouge for the north being quite a bit easier in general for hooking up, and more relaxed people. In the south, Florianopolis was the most vanilla gringo place of everywhere I visited, not a particularly good place for game, and quite boring. Fun to visit for a weekend to go surfing if you're into that, and that's about it. I was bored to tears after a few days and the people aren't particularly friendly compared to other parts, also lots of stuck up international people.
After that I went to Curitiba and ended up seeing a girl there for a few weeks. But aside from her, I wouldn't say it was particularly great place for game. Also pretty boring place and fairly vanilla. When I realized I wasn't that into this girl, I decided to try my luck in Sao Paulo. This proved to be a good decision.
Sao Paulo is an enormous city so you're likely to luck out with somebody. Very active dating apps, quality I would say was better than Curitiba, but not outstanding. I ended up spending a month there, and was able to hook up with someone new from apps each week. Lots of crackheads in the city and mostly ghetto but the neighborhood I stayed in was decent enough. This would definitely be my choice over Rio since Rio is very played out now, and more full of scammers.
Rio has beautiful beaches but is also filled with plenty of crackheads from the favelas. Gamewise it would be second worse after Florianopolis. It's worth going to see it for a couple days but I would certainly not make it your main focus.
As mentioned, the North will likely be your best option for hookups. Recife, Natal and Fortaleza, while very ugly ghetto cities with maybe one or two decent neighborhoods, had the easiest girls of anywhere I went. However, quality is not the best. Out of these I would say Fortaleza probably had the best quality, but is dangerous as hell.
I spent the most time in this village called Jericoacoara, a few hours from Fortaleza, which had better quality because it attracts rich girls from all over Brazil. I spent three months here and had some success on dating apps but not nearly as much as the bigger cities, mainly because there are less people on them. But it was a decent town without all the ghetto crime so it was more enjoyable to stay in for a while. Pipa is also a decent option, about an hour from Natal, but too many obnoxious digital nomads there for my taste.
I found girls in Colombia and Argentina significantly more attractive than Brazilians, but Brazilian girls are more laid back and don't **** test as much as those women. You will still find places that are socially conservative though and they are a total waste of time. For some reason, Joao Pessoa was like this while Recife was not. Salvador had surprisingly conservative girls as well. I heard good things about Belo Horizonte but never went there.
These are just some observations and I'm curious what other people have to say who've been there.
