Brand Name Fat Burners any good?

I have seen some bottles in health food stores lately, as well as in magizines advertising Fat Burning pills, that supposedly can burn off fat twice as fat and is generally used for body builders, well I am on the weightlifting team at my high school, so I must keep my heavy lifting up, but at the same time I need to cut weight to stay in the same weight class and I have been cutting weight lately but I was wondering if anyone knows about these fat burning pills, how safe they are, and how effective, and there cost, as I want to cut weight since I am overweight for my height and build, and want to do it fast, so I can go back to a heavy diet for building muscle for football and weightlifting. thx

I dont trust those things that much, man. the commercials always implie that if you take this, youll loose weight without having to diet or exercise, which I think is a lie. and the commercials always have little writing at the bottom that say if you want the results of the people on the commercial that you need to diet and exercise much more than regular, so I dont think that they do a whole lot.

Oh I understand what you mean with the cortislim and stuff, I am talking more about what the body builders use, like the "Ripped Fuel" is the brand name I am looking for, cause it can be harder sometimes to lose large amounts of weight will gaining strength. I am pretty sure most are complex blend but a lot have a least a negligable amount of protein in them.

unless it has 'ephedra' in it (which I doubt, since it's banned in the US), it will probably be useless. If you want a good fat burner, you should go with an homemade ECA-stack (ephedrine, caffeine, asprine). But I dont know how relavant that is considering your age

yeah I dont want to take ephedra since it could be very harmful and I am young, but what is asprine, and how do I get it, and is their a way I can just buy caffeine, instead of drinking coffee or cokes.

That's your typical headache drug stuff.

Yes you can buy caffeine in tabs, 200mg per tab, but caffeine and aspirin won't do anything for you without ephedrine.

Yes you can still get ephedrine (note, not ephedra, but if you do your research, they're close to the same) in the USA. It's sold as an asthma medicine and not a weight loss supplement.

Once while riding...
My heart had just stop beating!..What I was taking was GNC HYDROCUTS... I was dying, cars hadn't known as yet because I was on my feet..Now i'm 22.. so that anything that does that isn't anygood.. I have since lost 27punds and am in great shape at 5'11 160pounds...
