Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Perhaps, but at least they're not tortured for their whole miserable lives.Animals get eaten by other animals in FAR more painful and cruel ways in the wild. Its called the food chain and thats just how **** works.
Caged free, farm fresh. Just like Kramers' rooster.Bonhomme said:I avoid factory farmed chicken as much for the female hormones and antibiotics the disease-ridden critters have pumped into them as for ethical reasons. Those estrogens make people soft & fat just like they do the birds.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Yeah it is more entertaining than logical, but I agree with the main premise that vegi nazis as hypocrites. They contribute to animals dying, but as long as it's unintentional it's fine. Is death somehow differentiated by cause and intent? They argue that it is. They think a cow being raised for slaughter and getting slaughtered is worse than field animals being grinded up as a side effect of wheat being harvested. At least the animals being slaughtered suffer for a purpose, feeding people. The Forms said:That is really one of the weakest arguments I've heard in a long time. Here are his premises followed by his conclusion.
A) eating wheat entails animals dying
B) vegetarians are against animals dying
C) animals die because of vegetarians
D) vegetarians are hypocrites
therefore,
D) everyone can eat as much meat as he wants.
absolute crap. It's an entertaining read, but the guy who wrote it needs to take a logic class someday. I actually clicked around a little and this guy in general doesn't make good arguments, just entertaining ones.

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Lol...same reason we like other foods, it taste good. Thought I prefer Popeyes chicken.azanon said:That's too funny! Man what is it with that; why do you guys like chicken so much????

Yes, Red Lobsters are the best. In fact I got a lady who works in RL. Told me that those biscuits are simply made with bisquik, cheddered cheese (powdered maybe), garlic powder, and butter. I'ma end makin a land fill of those...lol.backbreaker said:BISCUTS/1!! YOU ARE GOING TO ARUGE WITH ME OVER BISCUITS!!!!
Best biscuits in the country:

2) Dixie Cafe (Very basic... but throw some butter on them and I will eat them by the handful. they are soft and scrumptious... these and their fried corn on the cob...
3) KFC (honey..butter.. doesn't matter. they are soft and GREAT!)

I'm not trying to correlate it to "we should all eat meat then". I'm just saying they either need to realize suffering is unavoidable if the human race wants to survive in comfort. Or they need to start championing the plight of the field animals to avoid their "unintentional" hypocrisy. The Forms said:Well, vegetarians have absolutely no control over the combines killing some animals. This is just a limatation people have to live with. vegetarians are never going to be able to get farms to harvest wheat without combines. Period. So it's a pretty lame argument to hold it against them, being that it is out of their control. And in NO WAY can it be corrolated to "we should all eat meat then."
Even though some animals will have to die, it doesn't follow that it's ok to kill as many animals as we want. That's the main fallacy in the maddoxx article.
Also, a lot of the issue has to do with quality of life with these animals. A lot of the reason you don't feel bad for a rabbit that gets chewed up in a combine is because the rabbitt got to lead a free rabbit life before his death. A lot of the argument against the chickens used in fast food is that they are treated inhumanely and go crazy while they are alive. They don't have good lives before they die (like animals in the wild do).
The whole "well, they suffer for a purpose" argument is lame too. One of the most basic things we teach our children about ethics is that you can not harm someone more than is absolutely necessary. All this harm is done to these animals because it is convenient and profitable, but most of it is hardly necessary. These animals could be used as food without all the suffering (granted it would cost a LOT more, but philosophy is never about prudence).
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
