"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

The kid is a natural.

Makes you wonder how rejection and fear wreck's havoc in a boy's confidence growing up if the first girl he liked either ignored him or called him 'ugly' and laughed at him.

The first interaction can set the precedence for the future.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: Check out this funny thing I found on the internets! OMG LOLS.

But I agree, plenty of the bull**** that shapes our behaviour and feelings is from bad experience.

I went "awwww" inside.

That's f*cking awesome, this is raw, because there hasn't been any years of social bullsh*t conditioning screwing with their heads. Notice at 0:41 the camerawoman is already trying to stop them... haha who knows what they'll be up to when they're away from adults. I remember the fun games I played with girls as a kid when no adults were around.

And that girl is cute. And I say that in a non-creepy, non-sexual way.

I find it creepy that you have to remind yourself that you are looking at her in a non-sexual way  .

It's not to remind myself, it's to remind others.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Yeah man I used to be like that! I got my first kiss like that with 5. Seriously in Kindergarten and Elementary school I was the absolute pimp... then I had to change class and all the bullies were beating on me, so I emerged an insecure and antisocial teenager

Then I was 15 and met my first kiss girl again, she instantly recognized me (WTF), she was DAMN HOT! Asked me out several times, I blew it and ended up heartbroken AFC.

But that's long past, thankfully ;)

P.S. remember how easy it was to make a "date"? You'd just go hey wanna come home with me after school I wanna show you my computer, or toy or whatever, and the answer was always yes...

Well I don't want to whine about however bad I've maybe had it, because self-pity is a really really ugly thing. I've gotten rid of most issues a long time ago ;)

But if we're talking about psychology, I'm sure getting bullied makes you socially anxious! I mean those kids do everything they can to make you feel bad. And that means feel bad about yourself, so they can utterly break you.

I mean if most of your reality (school) consists of kids telling you how much you suck, and you can't really prove them wrong, of course you'll believe it. In fact it becomes so ingrained in your mind that even years later you don't realize people actually like you. Girls go out of their way to get with you and you think you're literally not good enough. So many missed chances in HS!

Well until you man up of course and find out that you actually can succeed at whatever you want. But my idea is: for me, and many others here I guess, becoming more confident and successful has taken years of hard work, putting yourself out there, forcing yourself to open girls etc... whereas a happy kid automatically becomes a natural, without all the pain. I guess this thread is about envy ;)

When Pook says be a kid I think he means like this. This is the one and only post on sosuave that deserves a heart. <3

Sigh. Too bad I was a very angry and unhappy child. I don't remember how I acted but nobody liked me. Thankfully I was never bullied, people just left me alone. Girls hated me up until I hit High School, and then they just ignored me.

Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if I had a different childhood and girls actually liked me. Something tells me that I would be a very different person from who I am now.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Hope they grow up in love . . . just like they are now.
Fat chance that happens.

Before you know it, 6 year old Billy down the street has cooler toys and his mom bakes chocolate chip cookies. Bowie (the girl) begins to spend less and less time with Elliot and more with Billy. Elliot panics and then tries to recreate the scene by kissing Bowie again only to be coldly rebuffed and be told that she "only wants to be friends". Elliot doesn't understand but agrees with her and then Bowie uses him to do sh1t for her and rewards him with only half assed hugs.

It’s going to get ugly.....

A natural is someone that hooked up at a young age and thus grew up believing that getting girls is easy.

An AFC is someone that was probably rejected at a young age and thus grew up believing that getting girls is like pulling teeth.

The above is so true it had to be said twice

Luck is a real big part of it. And looks are a part of luck.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
