Bought muscle milk, question.

oooo its good, tastes real good. Now Im taking it before work out and then after work out. Now what if you drink it after a work out that wasn't very hard, as in your not sweating heavily afterwards. I worked out for 45 minutes cause the gym was closing so i didn't have much time, i just drank a shake after working out is that alright? I don't want to gain fat.

The reason being is, if i drink it after a not so hard work out i don't want my body fat percentage to go up. So i was wondering how you guys drink your muscle milk.

45mins is a long workout. I do 30 mins very intence.

If your worried about body fat get whey powder. not muscle milk

drink it once in the morning,pre-workout and post-workout with some fat free milk,you should over 200% of your daily protein intake from those three shakes right there with and extremely small amount of fat. By the way I wouldn't sleep on more then 15 grams of fat if I were trying to lean out hence the fat free milk.

MuscleMilk is a great blend, so is ON but MuscleMilk is beyond a standard protein drink. It has fats and carbs, it is designed to be a meal replacement. Take regular protein too!

45 minutes is not a long workout if you're warming up properly. some of the big guys on here take nearly that long to warm up for their first big compound lift.

you want your during and/or post workout nutrition to be fat free.

I will keep this simple,becoming more muscular requires 3 main things,nutrition,sleeping and lifting weights. Not one item,such as protein powder will help everyone,some will respond from it,some wont. I will eliaborate more on these when I get back home from work.

well i have my nutrition down, i have my sleep (well im working on it), and i work out 4 times a week at school in class, and 3 days a week at the gym.


My friend recommended it to me saying that it will help me.

o.k. listen to this and please consider it,only seriously take advice from people who are more musclular then you/who physique you want. Alot of smaller people tend to give advice when they don't know what they are talking about. I tell you this because my Weight Lifting teacher in high school had me busting my butt off on a workout that made no sense,learn from me.

Don't get me wrong,it couldn't hurt as long as you don't sleep on too much of it. All I'm saying is try out different supplements,exercises and so on. Focus on the exercises before you take supplementing seriuos.
