Boring Women

I just stumbled across a girl on myspace who I dated about five years ago. I was thinking "Wow, haven't seen her in a while!" and I tried to conjure up some fun memories of our dates. I was coming up blank. I had to think long and hard about what the hell I did with that girl. Oh yeah, I took her bowling, and I think I took her out to play some pool, but other than that, I can't really remember. She was so fvcking boring. But I do remember making an effort of practicing Kino on her.

The only decent memory I have about her is the other girl I dated at the same time. Fvck she was a lot of fun! I can think of all the cool 5hit that me and her did together. We had absolutely nothing in common, unlike the boring girl I dated. I read her myspace profile, and her general interests describe a woman whom I could have fallen in love with. But she was just too fvcking boring. She would tell me about her friends with her monotone, unenthusiastic voice, and I could have easily mistaken her conversation topic for her grocery list.

I also loved how she split with me. "I'm going to be busy for the next two weeks". Classic stuff. I was a bit pissed, not because she didn't want to date me anymore, but because she had to tell me a line of bull5hit to do it. That's okay though since she gave me an excuse to focus more time on the fun chick.

What absolutely blows me away is how many guys out there go for these horribly boring women. Most of my friends (whom are now married) have devoted spending their lives with women who have the personalities of a wet dishrag. Blow up dolls are more interesting for chrissake!

It's almost like society has dictated that men must marry only in necessity, and that family lives are supposed to be boring. I wouldn't want a boring family life, I'd want an interesting one full of adventure and fun! I suppose these women's idea of fun is talking about their grocery list and their nameless friends, much like that girl I dated.

You guys have any thoughts on this?

I once had a disscusion with someone about that. If you are a guy and you are boring, a woman will dismiss you rather quickly. However if the girl is boring (or she could even be a mute) it wouldn't really matter to most men because if she is hot then it compensates for it.

This is one of the most important things I have learned since I became less desperate... a girl's personality is HUGE in determining attraction. I am finding myself less and less interested in the little blonde things and much more attracted to girls with a little more depth to them.

I consider myself a smart, funny, guy... and if the girl doesn't have these qualities, it's not going to work out. Sure, we can fool around, but that's it.

It sounds simple.. but when i was more desperate, I would project qualities onto girls... I'd think they were funny or smart or spiritual, even though I was just thinking about their butt.

I agree, I had oneitus for a real boring girl 10 years ago. Offcourse she was hot and we hooked up but nothing really happened. I blamed myself at the time, but the truth is I realise now that it was as much her fault. If you can't have fun with someone then it doesn't matter how hot they are. The problem is, they have to be hot too. You can have fun with your friends but you want a hot girl to ****. The other problem is that the fun girls tend to be the ones that either have slept around and/or not that hot but maybe that's just my experience.

Boring women do nothing for me. I've gone out with a few hotties that sit there and look pretty, making me thankful my cup of tea is delicious and smells good. When one can put up with my constant barrage of smart-alec comments and goofball antics AND return fire I know I've found someone worth a few more nights out with. Thing is, it has taken me a while to learn how important that dynamic is to me.

Some of the more fun girls I've met are definitely not the 8s or 9s (or 10s) but that's fine with me, as long as they're attractive enough I'm going to enjoy my time with them.

This is why there has been a couple of threads questioning viability of marriage under society's current definition. In short, it doesn't benefit the man as well as it does a woman. Marriage should be redefined in terms that will make you want to stay married instead of romanticized, old world terms. Instead of marrying women just because they seem to have high interest in you marry women who have that and then some!

If you dislike boredom, hook up with a woman who can prove that she's adventurous. If you like a woman with a tight body, hook up with one where fitness is already a part of her lifestyle. Also, who ever said that having children right away or even at all was a necessity? FYI guys, children brings the most impact to a relationship; how you react to them will either lift your marriage to a new collaborative level or it will start the relationship's spiral into
complacency, routine and emotional divorce.

So absolutely change how you define your relationships so you will have less disappointments from unfulfilled expectations. Sarge women who have substance and looks. Learn how to qualify women and stop wasting time on those who aren't capable of fulfilling the characteristics of women who fit your style.

Funny you bring this up.

Same thing happened to me recently. I was searching Myspace to see if I could dig up any old female friends from back in the day, and I ended up stumbling upon a chick that I dated about ten years ago.

We exchanged a couple of messages, her telling me to call her and all, but it wasn't until I really thought about it that I started wondering why the hell I was even contacting this chick again. This girl couldn't carry on a convo to save her life, and even when she get some alcohol in her she has one of those quirky personality's that very few people even "get".

One time when we were dating I asked her out to dinner and she ended up bringing along her best friend AND HER LITTLE BROTHER! What the FUUUUUUUKKKKK was I thinking???? My last contact with her was several years ago when she called me up cause she was short on her rent money.

She's now almost 30 years old, two kids by different dads, and lives with her parents. Boring AND a loser, what a combo!

Guys.. what's your criteria for an interesting woman? Or, what's your criteria for a woman that can hold your interest?

I've been having this kind of discussion with guy friends. None of them are really DJs. Some of the things that come up on my radar are that she should be into more than just going out to dinner..or sitting around watching TV. I am into sports, music.. yadda yadda. Direction with her life matters. Being smart, romantic, a friend matters.

Now, the dark part. A lot of women fail having interests other than going out to dinner. Many women don't get that love is a two way street. A lot seem to think that all they have to offer is a pvssy; problem is, so does virtually every other woman, so why pick her? Anyhow, second question is where to draw the line and say that the woman is just too uninteresting... where would you say that even though she's "nice, etc", she's just too boring to go out with? Putting criteria out there means filtering out a lot of women, and very quickly, one can be filtering out most women.

See, i genuinely cannot say this is true for me. "Beauty" for me is a baseline factor that must meet a minimum scale. If the woman does, then I look at the other things that really separate her from the others.

Call me weird, but I am most turned on by an intelligent and/or powerful woman. If the woman's at least an HB6.5+, but is sporting an advanced degree/and or has a high paying job, then man on man, does that turn me on for that challenge.

Conversely, if she's an HB8-9, but dumb as a wall/living with her parents doing nothing, then I just cant even respect her. I could, maybe, ONS one that insignificant, but that's going to be it. As soon as I pick up on the dumbness, i'm going to see if i can think of a crafty way to ask her to not talk so i can pretend she's smart.

The fact is that an otherwise boring but attractive woman who doesn't nag too much or otherwise disturb a man's peace, but still is intelligent (i.e., because intelligence has significant genetic value), and puts out fairly regularly, and without "issues" related to that, is what most men would consider a woman worth keeping.

Most women are adaptable to the men, and when their interest is high and feel attracted to you.. she will adapt herself to you.
MOST of the time the women will be the one that will compromise their values & beliefs, in order to be with the man.

Boring woman?
If she attractive and the sex is good, then i won't mind that. Unless she complains a lot and has a negative attitude, which effect my life. I would say that for women it's more about how attractive they are! With friends it's more important that they aren't boring.
