"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Either Im lazy as fvck, or I just cant be bothered with boring chicks. How do you guys deal with OLD or Tinder girls who are interested but just boring? This chick is attractive, but Im finding it hard to even give a fvk to hang out with her.

Its like, on one hand the girl is cute and attractive, and I like meeting new people. On the other hand, I dont wanna end up on a boring and awkward date with some chick that doesnt know how to make conversation. I almost dont wanna even ask for the digits.

I already made the mistake a few weeks ago of talking to this chick I wasnt that into and had to pull the "sorry but things are kinda getting serious with someone else...lets be friends". Being FWB wasnt even really an option since she knows people I know, so I didnt need potential drama.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Find some common ground or take her to an interesting activity. Dinner date is a bad idea until you have more info and experiences with the girl to talk about.

Even the most interesting person in the world is going to be boring with someone who doenst get where they are coming from.

Use this to your advantage - it's far easier to be outcome independent if you're not so sure the girl's interesting in the first place. Make her qualify herself, have fun and tease her, and next her if she doesn't show signs of life.

Actually am having a conversation via tinder right now with a girl like that - cute but doesn't seem to know how to flirt or be interesting. So I literally just asked her "Are you an interesting person?" and let her qualify. I've got **** to do tonight and don't care whether we hang or not, so I'm in the proper frame.
