"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm a 15 year old sophomore in highschool and after many many years of trying to figure it out, I've finally discovered some of the roots of my problems. Every school year starts out the same, everything goes well, the ladies are abundant, and football season is just begining. But every single school year, around november or december, something happens. I lose total intrest in anything, i'm tired 24/7, even on many weekends, and my friendships start to decay. I've finally realized that i'm bored ****less with life. I cant sit in class 7 hours a day listening to monotonous lectures. Its really scaring me because its starting to happen outside the school year. I'm starting to get this way year round and so far its ruined a few friendships and the worst of all, ruined my sophomore football season. I lost all intrest in my most loved hobby, I didnt even feel anything running out under those lights. I'm pretty worried about not coming out of this rut for awhile. How can i make life more intresting?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Man, When I get back to school, those lectures are going to be music to my ears... I can't get enoguh of learning new things, and than taking them out and experimenting with them.

There are SO MANY new and exciting opportunities out there. You just won't find them if you keep saying how bored you are. Nobody wants to know how bored you are, because they can copy you in less than a second flat.

Everybody on earth could be boring, no sweat. Look at me, I'm bored now, whoop, I'm happy again. It's your freaking choice if you are bored or not. Nothing can STOP you from being happy, NOTHING, it's all in your mind.

Your granny could be hit by a bus, your arm could be ripped off in a freak accident, blah blah blah. Those are things that could TOTALLY ruin your day, but the next day it's your own fault if you haven't dealt with them.

You want to know how to make life more interesting?

Get silly.

I do try though, thats the thing. I approach girls all the time, i try to joke around and have fun in school, but even joking around in school has gotten stale. I do enjoy learning new things if i'm intrested in them and havent learned them before. We are studying WW1 right now for about the 5th time...

You're right though, alot of it is my fault and after writing this post i realize theres not alot people can tell me.

Damn.. I'm not here to whine either, i really hated writing this post, but i need help waking up.

find a passion.
find something you really enjoy and do it. or alternately find something completely random and give it a shot, just for the hell of it. join an athletics club. play a sport (the less normal the better) learn the guitar. take dancing lessons. do a short course in social psychology. get one of those internet degrees (lol JK)

finding and doing something you love wil give you direction and a sense of purpose and chicks eat that up.

a bored person is a boring person. do something about it.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
