Booty Call Cancelled?

Just wondering what went wrong here? I met a girl online last week. We text messages each other back and forth for a few days. For some reason I got bored of the SMS convos after a while. We weren't flirting, but she did mention that she thought I'm cute. She's 19 and a swimsuit model.

We didn't talk for a few days and then she calls me tonight out of the blue saying she's wasted and she wants me to come pick her up so we can "kick it" which is what she said.

Her phone kept getting cut off because she was at some party, and each time it got cut off she would call me back. At one point her friend got on the line and asked who I was, where I live etc. And finally the original girl tells me her friends won't let her leave because they think she's drunk, so I shouldn't bother coming over.

So...I'm not sure what happened...

I'm wondering if it was something I said because I was a little boring on the phone and a little surprised at how direct she was even though it was our first time actually talking on the phone. When she called the first time, here's kind of how our conversation went: (at around 11:30pm$

Her: hey baby where are you?
Me: just got home from work
Her: where do you work?
Me: just some software company
her: what do you do there?
Me: I make software and stuff
her: well what are you doing tonight?
Me: uh...nothing much, what are you doing?
Her: well I'm at this party at my friend's house and I wanna leave, come pick me up
me: uh... (she lives 30min away)...where do you wanna go?
Her: let's go to your place and kick it I don't care, let's just go somewhere
me: uh...we can go to some bars
her: no I'm not 21
me: ok well I'll come pick you up, it's kinda far but I can get there in 30min, give me your address

So she gave me her address then the phone got cut off, so I just texted her to say I'm heading out of my house and will be there. Then she calls me saying how much it sucks that her friends won't let her leave, blah blah, and when I jokingly texted her after that there was no more response on her end.

Yea so that's it. I think I blew a perfectly good opportunity to smash a model tonight, but I just wasn't quick enough?

She probably wanted to see if she was desirable enough for you to travel 30 minutes to pick her up even though you hardly know her. You acted too eager and she got her validation and was probably turned off by that so made up an excuse for you to leave her alone.

I laughed at this because I've never seen someone casually brush and move on so fast, even if it is the internet talking haha

It's brings up some sort of situation where you see a bad cake in the bakery, then just move on to the next one. What I love more is that you've dwelled on it enough to know it sucks, but brushed off anyway :') I'm nowhere near that stage yet, I still get affected by it for a good day or two

This is the perfect attitude to hold for anyone reading this
