"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yo,

MAIN QUESTION - > I know the whole game of picking up has to deal also with one's reputation - How do I go through public rejections and still keep a reputation?

- I am about to experiene 50 weekly rejections, I don't want to be viewed as the pest when I start proaching. (you know, don't want girls to think " ughhh here he comes to try to pick me up too" ) Also among my friends who may presence my continuos rejections.

I am starting my badly adverticed BootCamp today I also need tips with:
1) Approaching girls in a summery environment at Coffee shops, bookstores and out door festibals.
2) how to approach in the beach.
3) How to overcome fear of approaching.

Any tips you may have for someone who is just beginning, like best places to aproach and proven simple strategie.

Yes, I am reading the DJB and yes there is plenty of info there that I am using, I just want to keep motivated and hear how everyone else is making it.

The way I see it, if I don't improve, this efforts will at least give me some crazy stories to tell.

Thank you all

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Don't worry about your reputation.

Short Answer: Don't worry about your reputation.

Long Answer: Don't worry about your reputation. Seriously... don't worry. The only people who will put you down are those who wish they had the guts to make the approach themselves, or girls who are pissed off that you approached another girl instead of them. People who are confident will not put you down, they'll respect you for having the guts to make the attempt - whether or not you succeed.

Secondly, part of overcoming rejection is becoming confident. And part of being confident is that you can take success and failure in stride, without it effecting your self-esteem.

So conclusion, don't worry about your reputation. Make the approach.

You are going to approach strangers on the streets, I fail to see how you are going to have your reputation be damaged since no one will know who you are. You also mentioned that your friends be present?? Why are they present??! Sarge alone.

You do not have the right mindest to do this. You need to read more of the DJ Bible before you do the bootcamp. Why do you feel as if you are to experience 50 weekly rejections??? How do you know you will be rejected before actually doing any approaches?? What makes you so different then other guys who approach and get numbers?? Why aren't they considered to be "pests"???

Change your mindest and have the 'PRIZE' mentality before you sarge because if you think you are going to fail then you will.

True, my mindset is not the best, I am coming out of a severe case of One-itis of 4 years and battling a little depression. I'll make through though, after all I have nothing left to loose.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
