I brought the idea up in the Moderator Corner. It was met with a different idea by Survivor, which is a lot better.

Don't call it a "Boot Camp" forum, but rather a "Field Reports" forum. We don't want to limit people to only MOTU's "Boot Camp".

I think the reason the "Success Stories" forum failed is because, no offense, it was unrealistic. If you take a good look at the general discussion forum, you'll see that over 95% of what is discussed entails failure, not success.

So if a Field Reports forum is established, we must encourage guys to post their failures as well as their successes. The key difference between this new forum and the discussion forum would have to be ACTION. No questions, no general debates, no polls, no flaming, just action and trading notes from each other's field reports.

Plus the forum would help out the moderators by making it easier to identify the posters who may be taking real life action.

Such a forum would have to STRICTLY moderated though.
