"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hey, I'm a newbie here and i was wondering if anybody still does the DJ boot camp that's posted in the DJ bible. I just found this site, and i noticed nobody has posted any experiences from the boot camp in a long time. Is it outdated or something?

Well, since i'm already posting, i wanna ask question about a failed prospect.
I met a girl at my college (she basically approached me) and we hit it off quickly. At first i did pretty good, i kept her laughing and talkin' and she seemed pretty in to me. She even talked to me about how she had a bad hip, and to feel her waist to check she was telling the truth (To me, those are good signs). Then, the convo. just went dry, and she told me to talk about myself. I froze up, and it seems like she was disappointed. Since then she's been avoidin me. The only thing i can think of is that she thought i had no personality and got bored of me (Plz don't bash me for stating the obvious). So my question is: What do ya say, when someone asks u something like that, and how do u keep a convo. going and keep it interesting? Oh, yea and another thing, most girls from my class seem to be attracted to me on the lone fact that i'm quiet and semi-good looking. Should i keep that going, or just start using c/f right away?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Hey! Boot Camps start up seem to start up whenever anyone wants to do one. I'm in Week 2 right now, and HIGHLY recommend it for breaking out of your shyness and AFCness:

Regarding your problem - don't get hung up on this one girl. Read the DJ Bible, and study the other material around the internet. C/F sometimes works, sometimes not, it's situational. Focus on improving yourself, and improving your game - and if you build up those things, the girls will come. ;)

Best,

If she asks you about yourself you can either joke about it eg, say your a secret agent or in the FBI or some other retarded thing like that as a joke. Then you can try and get her talking again. Or you can learn how to speak about yourself and make it seem interesting no matter what it is. I find women are generally more talkative then men. If you can keep her talking about herself you'll do much better. And you won't have to worry about talking about yourself, if thats something you find hard to do. I'm pretty much in the same boat.
