Books, posts and articles - Please share

Am still struggling, but the following helped me to a large degree. Hope you find them useful :)

0. The Fountainhead

1. The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill

  • Other books written by Napoleon Hill are also worth reading.

2. Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!

  • Other books written by Robert Kiyosaki and his advisors are also worth reading.

3. The Richest Man in Babylon

4. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change. A must read IMO.

[A nice post, related to weekly planning > http://czarto.com/2013/11/01/weekly-planning/]

5. Books by Jim Collins

Best success/business book I've read lately:

http://www.amazon.com/Power-Some-Pe...&qid=1406730867&sr=1-1&keywords=power+pfeffer

Funny book on social class with a huge amount of useful inner game tips for DJs:

http://www.amazon.com/Class-Through...&qid=1406731034&sr=1-1&keywords=class+fussell

Motivational Gold from Eastern thought:

http://www.amazon.com/Classics-Stra...ords=cleary+strategy+and+tactics+volume+three

The I Ching, most misunderstood book in the world. Not just another kind of crystal ball, horoscope or tarot deck, but a focusing, flexibility and mind expansion tool unrivalled IMO. But once you know how to use it, it can be included in seduction routines to great effect as a fringe benefit ;)

This is also a book that has to be read:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Greatest-Salesman-World-Mandino/dp/055327757X

From a review:

"For those who enjoy classic business parables like the "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George Clayson, "The Baron Son" by Vicky Therese Davis, and "The Alchemist" by Paolo Coelo, they will certainly find interest in "The Greatest Salesman in World."

Like the other works, it has been translated around the world and brought joy to the hearts of many. "The Greatest Salesman in the World" is the first, and by far the best, in Og Mandino's trilogy including "The Greatest Secret in the World" and "The Greatest Miracle in the World."

As the title would imply, it is the ancient story of the world's greatest salesperson whose passes on his secrets of success by bequeathing ten scrolls to his protégé.

The Scroll Marked I, Today I begin a new life - Form good habits and become their slaves
The Scroll Marked II, I will greet this day with love in my heart - Show love and compassion to the world and you shall find it returned
The Scroll Marked III, I will persist until I succeed - Persistence will bring you success
The Scroll Marked IV, I am nature's greatest miracle - Love yourself
The Scroll Marked V, I will live this day as if it is my last - Seize the day
The Scroll Marked VI, I will be the master of my emotions - Live courageously and do not fall victim to fear and disappointment
The Scroll Marked VII, I will laugh at the world - Appreciate each situation and do not take life too seriously
The Scroll Marked VIII, Today I will multiply my value hundred fold - Find ways to create value for others in your exchanges
The Scroll Marked IX, I will act now - Act decisively to achieve success
The Scroll Marked X, I will pray for guidance - Renew yourself through a connection with God"

I've read many self-help books over the years; I've read books about how to make money, how to withstand upcoming recessions and how to succeed socially. Most of these books, I learned about from this website - some through PMs, some through site searches.

The books that meant the most to me, though, were the ones that gave me REAL motivation. A few have done this, but only one has really stuck with me:

http://www.amazon.com/The-50th-Law-...=UTF8&qid=1407911877&sr=8-1&keywords=50th+law

Most people are familiar with The 48 Laws of Power, which is a phenomenal book in its own right, but no book has ever given me a since of drive like The 50th Law. I still refer back to it on a monthly basis.

I would also recommend The 33 Strategies of War for those in leadership positions.
