what the pros and cons of bodyweight exercises and weightlifting? I train with bodyweight exercises...

Same here...for the time being.
BW exercises are good to bring you up to a basic level, and help you get nicely toned (and from my bf, lower fat storages). But to keep your body growing you need to do heavy lifts, or you end up losing concentration, and you begin to lose form...leads to injuries. Try doing 500 hindus every day, and still be excited 9 months down the line (I only started 4 months ago, and already my mind wanders a little). Same with press ups, when you go over 50, your building endurance, so I'm starting to re-evaluate some things.

Ever do isometrics? I did back in school. You won't get big butthey help on definition...
